Mr Ganax –

A slight change this year, but we plan to arrive early, possibly by 5/1. Please have the estate opened by then and the summer staff on site. I’d expect to be needing 6-7 rooms ready, the north wing, and cliff deck to start. You can delay on the pool if its an issue. I would like to see the local water trade rates before deciding whether to fill it this year.

But there are still many things you have not explained! The analysis of the cost of the move is missing several key factors. Local wages on Terek for instance. And the Starport issue… You would have to build a new downport at Haramu, which would be prohibitively expensive. Just my opinion but you should look at it.

Let’s discuss this next week at Crystal Peak. I’ve sent instructions to have it opened by 5/1. You could bring Jhorati; Keala would love to see her again. Hoping you can make it. Please RSVP.

Perhaps I was a bit too harsh the other day at the meeting. But I would still like to see you exercising more caution with your undermining experiments. I am concerned that an AI interrogator will not be a sufficient/adequate tool for interfacing to them. You risk provoking a reaction of some sort, which, by your own admission is not currently quantifiable.

As for the Father. (or, as I would think would be more correct to refer to it, Mother) It is not a trust issue, it is a security issue. I have never permitted anyone to contact her directly, you know that. It’s not safe and there are too many involved in the project to risk that level of power being brought into an uncontrolled area. The benefits to the Spawn are not clear either. It also does not make good business sense. The REC project is about making money, not open ended research ad infinitum. At the end of the day, it must turn a profit, and Black Globe conversion makes the most sense at this point. I have several Imperial Navy men waiting in the wings to sign for delivery of the latest units into those new Brildan class destroyers. Why develop their intellect if in the end, they will be converted? Even you must see that would be cruel.

I haven’t forgotten you. We had some production issues. We have three prototypes in the works, but we have a few small production issues to iron out before we will be able to deliver them. It’s amazing really how much you look like your mother… She would have been proud to see what you have accomplished in the past few years. Also thank you for the pictures of Harding’s new boy. Maybe I’ll get to see him in my lifetime. I know you would like it if I went down to Vember and made Harding’s problems vanish. If he wants help however he will have to come ask for it. He knows where I am. I would hope raising children will finally teach him some responsibility, but I’m not holding my breath.
